Happy Valentine’s Day! I was flying to visit my grandson and he had the flu. On the plane I wrote him a song called “The Sick Song,” and I sang it to him when I saw him.
The sweet part about the song is that it felt like I was “doing something” when I sang it to him. Often when someone we love is suffering, it’s hard to know what to do. Sometimes there isn’t anything we can do. But there is. We can feel in our heart our love for them, hold them dear, and wish them Peace.
I believe this is important. To wish someone Peace.
And it’s especially heartwarming to sing it to them. And because the song is made for kids it has some silliness in it too, which can help when feeling blue!
Here’s the link to “The Sick Song.” Please feel free to share it with someone who may need a smile or a little love. I think Valentine’s Day is an especially wonderful day to share love and wish each other Peace.
Truth is, we’ve all got a little or a lot that we’re carrying and a bit of kindness shared matters.
Wish you Peace and Joy today!
