Breathe in, breathe out, pray...
Hello All! Here we are at Thanksgiving week. A time of many emotions. For me there are frequent opportunities to return to breath, to pause, re-center and re-find gratitude.
Fortunately, here in Arizona our garden season is now. There are trees losing leaves, the light levels are getting lower, the mornings are cold and still, thankfully, sunlight warms the days and our garden continues to grow.
This drawing was inspired by a field of flowers I saw this summer in Wisconsin. Being an Arizona native, I’m stunned by fields of flowers. They take my breath away.
I find, no matter the season, that spending time in a garden, any garden, allows me to get in touch with seasons and something about this awareness is… grounding.
I continue to work on MissyAnn’s Etsy store. I’m enjoying the sample mugs I’ve ordered and appreciate the wide range of emotions MissyAnn expresses on them. The “Story Mugs” help me embrace the hero’s journey in each day. Sometimes I face a significant dig-out, and I’ve learned to appreciate that when I can start with compassion for the hard spot I’m in ~ that is in-and-of-itself a victory.
Other times when I put on music and listen or dance, everything gets better quickly. I love music that much! Another victory!
Today I will share with you MissyAnnComics and MissyAnn’s music loving mug. The delivery time right now is about 11 days. If you’d like to get a “Story Mug” for someone as a gift, I recommend ordering soon. Thank you! And may we continue to return to thanksgiving each day.
Peace be with you, ~ Kat
