A place of sanity from all that is mean…
Where do you go to renew your spirit? Where is a place where you feel safe and seen? I often find renewal in flowers and prayer.
But too often I’m in quicksand when I realize I’m sinking and need to stop and immerse myself in something beautiful.
My goal is to notice sooner when I’m needing beauty, peace and prayer. And not wait until my stomach feels sick, my heart rate is through the roof and I’m clenching my teeth. The body gets louder when I don’t listen. “Hey, you, hide inside a rose~ recover, renew, receive.”
Fifteen seconds, pausing, breathing, appreciating being alive, saying thank you for something~ helps me fill the well.
Prayer is water ~ refreshing, comforting, humbling, nourishing, soothing. A profound and simple connection and reminder that I am not alone and grace is always near.
Today MissyAnn sings a song, “Hiding Inside a Rose,” ~ a place where she leaves the insanity of being in the world of humans and she reconnects with joy.
My hope for you is that you make time for “hiding inside of a rose” and that beauty, color and scent surround you in such loveliness that your spirits are lifted, refreshed and renewed.
May Peace be with you!
Kat~
